DEMAG process cranes are designed to customer specifications, adjusted to your specific production process.  Because of its long-lasting experience in this field, DEMAG can continue building on the wide range of modular structured components that DEMAG has at its disposal.

In this way, we can build automatic cranes using a single or several PLC’s or computers allowing the cranes to be integrated in the production process.

Examples of such cranes are found in, for instance, galvanizing or similar plants where products first have to be submerged in a cleaning bath, then in one or several acid baths and finally in a rinsing bath.

By using advanced distance measurement and computer-communication systems, it is possible to position these cranes accurately and/or to determine certain drop or pick-up positions that allow a process-oriented recording of a product’s specific location.  Load recognition and automatic load pick-up is possible by means of DEMAG load measuring systems and automatic loading hooks.
