Mid 2003, DEMAG launched a new range of frequency controllers called Dedrive Compact. The name is self-explanatory: a compact controller that is more versatile than its format suggests.
The Dedrive Compact should not be underestimated. It has a special soft and hardware designed function to address, for instance, frequency controlled lifting units. That is why the special DEMAG ProHub function is integrated. This function increases the maximum lifting speed accordingly when the motor load decreases. As a result, the installation always provides maximum performance.
Nevertheless, for less complicated applications such as travel movements, the controller is also a justified choice from a cost point of view
The Dedrive Compact controllers are available with nominal currents from 2 A to 110 A. The controller can be programmed by a removable display or Parcom Compact software. Communication with other controls uses digital I/O, Profibus, Canbus, RS232 or RS485. In short, there is always a suitable interface for your control signals.
Analogue input and inputs for temperature sensors and impulse generators are standard. Any accessories such as net filters, chokes and brake resistors can be supplied. The controller is short-circuit rated and can be driven 1.5 x In for 60 seconds; even 2 x In for 10 seconds.
