Gantry CRANES AND SEMI-GANTRY CRANES

We also call fully freestanding cranes gantry cranes. These gantry cranes drive on rails which are located on or in the floor. These cranes are often used where there is no suitable hall construction for mounting a crane track at height, but especially for outdoor applications.

There is also an intermediate form, the half-gantry crane, in which one side runs over a high rail and the other side is provided with an upright and runs over a rails lying on the floor.

Gantry cranes do not fall under the heading of "standard cranes". These are tailor-made for you per project.

Lots of knowledge about gantry cranes
In 2007 we entered into a partnership with Kranservice Rheinberg GmbH (KSR). KSR is a subsidiary of DEMAG and is specialized in gantry cranes and grab rotary cranes. The origin of KSR lies with Aumund, a German crane builder who specialized in gantry cranes. Before that, Aumund took over the company Karl Keienburch. Boulder Burch taken over. Thanks to all these acquisitions, we have the technical files of the cranes made by Aumund, Karl Keienburch and PS Krane.

We also have technical files about gantry cranes from Jamach Crane Construction, B&I Service, NKM Crane Construction, HMC Crane Construction, HKI Crane Construction and Lemmens Crane Systems.
