KIS acquires ELMEC – strengthening its position in the Netherlands!

We are pleased to announce that KIS B.V. has acquired ELMEC, a leading Dutch supplier and service partner in the field of special cranes and lifting equipment.

The acquisition is part of KIS’ long-term growth strategy and an important step towards becoming a leading Northern European platform for inspection, service, and maintenance of lifting equipment. With revenues of EUR 15.5 million in 2024 and 45 employees, Elmec has built a strong position in the Dutch market.

ELMEC will continue to operate under its current name, and day-to-day operations will remain unchanged. At the same time, the acquisition opens up exciting opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and further development across the KIS Group.

KIS Netherlands Welcomes New CEO Following Elmec Acquisition.

With the acquisition of ELMEC, KIS Netherlands is pleased to announce the appointment of Wim Hermans as its new CEO. He takes over the role from Baard Hermansen, who will now fully focus on his position as COO of the entire KIS Group.
