A while back our service technicians completed another great job at one of our customers; voestalpine Automotive Components Bunschoten B.V.

Elmec delivered here in 2014 an impressive gantry crane of 2x 40 tons which is used for moving and placing heavy moulds on tractors for the presses. Of course, a crane like this also needs maintenance and every now and then wear parts need to be replaced. Therefore, our service technicians recently replaced a 630 mm driven crane wheel.

The day began with a beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine. The work went smoothly and the crane wheel to be replaced was removed. To get this done, the crane first had to be partially lifted up with a heavy hydraulic jack. Thus, our service technicians managed to successfully replace the 630 mm crane wheel in a fast and efficient manner. The working day ended with many clouds, but with a satisfied customer and satisfied service technicians after delivering the job.
