ELMEC has successfully installed two crane systems at the popular Theme Park Toverland, resulting in significant efficiency improvements for the park.

At Troy roller coaster, ELMEC installed a KBK crane system, while a Demag pillar-mounted jib crane was placed at Dwervelwind attraction. These systems are specifically used for positioning test dummies required during test runs of the roller coasters. The test dummies, each weighing 75 kg, are used to evaluate the safety and performance of the roller coasters before they open daily for visitors. The challenge of this project was to ensure that the crane systems were as unobtrusive as possible to the visitors while maintaining functionality and efficiency. Thanks to the high-quality DEMAG crane systems supplied and installed by ELMEC, this challenge was successfully met.

Toverland is extremely pleased with the results of this installation. The new system has not only improved safety and efficiency but also resulted in significant time savings. Previously, the process of positioning the test dummies required considerable time and effort from the park staff. With the new crane systems, the startup time of the roller coasters has been reduced by more than an hour. This means the roller coasters can now become operational faster, allowing Toverland to welcome its visitors earlier each day.
